We are on our way to one of the most powerful new Moons of the year, when 6 planets participate in an Aquarian Stellium and generate a new beginning that is nothing short of a quantum leap into the future. With such a huge event on the horizon, all the energies this week seem magnified and more intense than usual. If we could imagine an imaginary volcano about to erupt, the energies this week can be likened to what must go on underneath the surface of the earth as that volcano builds to its explosion point. Fortunately, there is so much Love around these days that the eruption is probably going to be more like a magnificent fireworks display and less like an angry destruction. But the intensity of the building energies is there. This is an interesting phenomenon. We don’t usually experience energies building around the new Moon. That is more often the situation around a full Moon event. But the gathering of so many planets in one sign, and the up and coming Chiron Neptune conjunction next week, are undeniably significant and hard to ignore.

New Moons and conjunctions always represent the beginnings of phases. Such a powerful new start implies a powerful phase ahead. What starts huge usually IS huge., Today the Moon sextiles Venus at exactly midnight EST and goes void for the entire early morning stretch. The Moon Venus sextile feels good, brings warmth and closeness to all connections, even the ones we encounter in night school or in our dreams. Inside the void the Moon connects with Mercury in an intimate semisextile, making it possible to have revealing and important sharing moments with loved ones. The Sagittarius Moon crosses the Galactic core this morning, bringing important downloads directly into our hearts.

And speaking of downloads, we are in the middle of yet another series of 2:2 and 3:3 Star Gates. If last week was any indicator, and of course it was, we are being given keys and codes we’ve never had before. 2 is the partnership number, 3 is the number of manifestation. The inner integration complete, love takes on new meaning in our lives at this time. The phenomenon of having 28 days in a month and experiencing 19 Star Gates during that period is extraordinary and highly unusual. To be so consistently downloaded with the energies of twos and threes has to have a huge effect on us. We need to practice remaining open and receptive to all that comes. The flowing, ever changing emotions that are the fabric of our universe these days is being majorly bombarded with the liquid Light that is cosmic information.

Ascension symptoms will be rampant this week. Dizziness, headaches, aches and pains, flu like symptoms are all typical and indicate the transformation of our physical bodies into less dense, more light filled vehicles. The change in our bodies from carbon based to crystalline is painful at times. Resist the temptation to buy into the idea that you are ill. You are changing, and change hurts.

The Moon moves into Capricorn at 5:45am EST and life gets serious. We take our responsibilities seriously today and everything gets taken care of. Emotions, on the other hand, may be a different story. There are no aspects all morning, and then at 1:45pm EST the Moon squares Saturn and issues around relationships come up. It Is hard to deal with these this afternoon, but it is in our best interest to stick with the toughest of our emotions and love through them. Whatever we decide to do with the struggles that come up will lead to an even deeper experience of the emotions that come of our efforts, when the Moon conjoins with Pluto at 3pm. It’s definitely a roller coaster ride today.

Things get better temporarily late this afternoon when the Moon sextiles Jupiter and this very positive and upbeat aspect is just constructive enough to help us through the Moon Mars inconjunct that follows on its heels. All day long, it seems, we need to make choices about how we use our power of control and discipline. Remaining centered in the heart is the solution. Love is always the answer.
