We are just setting out on Mercury’s retrograde journey, which will occur entirely within the Aries sector of our consciousness. Wherever Aries is in your birth chart you are reviewing and redefining the events of the past couple of weeks, which have been unprecedented and promise to set off a major new beginning, very soon. In some ways it seems as though that beginning is well underway, but there is some important tweaking that still needs to happen, and some deeper level of understanding that is on the agenda. That deeper awareness is what the retrograde Mercury cycle is all about, and it’s in everyone’s best interest to let go of the interactions and connections to the outer world that have been so powerfully vivid these last few weeks and turn inward willingly in order to gain the level of understanding needed to go forward in the most fulfilling way possible.

Double Jupiter is activated today and makes for an upbeat and happy day for no special reason at all. It’s a great day for window shopping. However, stick to a plan because the number 3 is also a very scattering energy. Without a strategy, you will end up wondering what the heck you actually did get accomplished at the end of the day. Add to all of this the 10/1 Universal Day with all of that Aries-Sun energy and you have momentum galore to take advantage of and to begin anything. Just go for it!

Whenever Mercury goes retrograde we feel it intensely. Mercury rules over every communication, every connection we make with the outside world. He moves us from place to place, he helps us to share our thoughts, he is the telephone, the computer, the car and the voice. Mercury is the part of our consciousness that assists us in all of our interactions with the outside world. Here in 3D, we are powerfully involved with that experience, the experience of interfacing with the world ‘out there’. Always, always always when Mercury goes retrograde, he seems to do so at a moment when the level of our interaction with others is very high. It never fails.
