Dear Cosmic Path members,
We know the site has had some glitches affecting your memberships.
The main reason is that we are experiencing server issues, we have been working hard on it over the last couple of days and many of you have received assistance through email, but for those who haven’t, please review this FAQ we developed with all the recent issues:
1. I can’t login!.
Please do check if the “caps lock” button is on in your keyboard and double check if your username contains capitals as the login system is case-sensitive and your username must be typed EXACTLY as it was entered at the time of registration. If all these requirements are met and still you can’t login, please email webmaster@thecosmicpath.com with this info: username, registration date and paypal receipt. You will receive your membership within the next 24 hours.
2. I haven’t received my password!.
Your password is sent only ONE TIME at the time of registration, regardless of how many times you make a renewal. You will be receiving an email to the address you submitted, with the header: [The Cosmic Path] Your username and password. Check your spam folder, in case you haven’t received your email. If you didn’t received any email confirmation at all within the next 24 hours, email webmaster@thecosmicpath.com with the username you submitted at registration time.
3. My password is too difficult, how can i change it?.
The first and only time you get your password, it looks something like: UYn3dhs7!4. Yes, we know it’s hard, but it is the best way to improve security on the site. The good thing is that you may have to use it only once, remember you can change your personal info including your password under “Your Profile” section, on the upper-right side of the site.
4. I forgot my password!.
On the bottom of the login page, there is a “Lost your password?” button. Click on it and follow the instructions. You will receive an email with your new password to the address with which you first signed up.
5. I paid in paypal, now what?
Paypal is just the first step on the registration process, once you get your payment confirmation page within paypal, on the bottom-right side of the page, there is a button that reads: “Proceed on to create username and password”. Click on it to follow the registration process. If you exit the paypal window and do not click on this button you will not have access to the Cosmic Path.com, you will have to redo the whole registration process.
6. I do not want to use paypal, is there any other way around?
No, the new Cosmic Path site accepts only payments through paypal. You can either pay with your paypal account or with a credit card (debit card/bank account where available). Once you click on the membership type, you will be redirected to paypal where you can choose between paying with you paypal account (if you have one) or paying directly with a credit card without signing up to paypal.
7. I do not want to create an account with paypal!.
You don’t have to. Creating a paypal account is just for people who wish to use a paypal account for further online payments regardless of the Cosmic Path.com site. Once you get redirected to paypal, select the “No PayPal account?” and you will be asked for your credit card information without signing up for paypal.
8. I can log in but i can’t see the daily weather!.
This is a temporary error on the server, email webmaster@thecosmicpath.com with your username and we will fix it right away.
9. If i am renewing, do i just need to pay in paypal?
No, you have to follow the renewal process, once you get your payment confirmation page within paypal, on the bottom-right side of the page, there is a button that reads: “Proceed on to renew your membership”. Click on it to follow the renewal process.
10. I made a renewal and i haven’t received my password!.
When you make a renewal, you don’t receive your password. All you have to do is enter your username after the paypal confirmation page in the box. Once you get your payment confirmation page within paypal, on the bottom-right side of the page, there is a button that reads: “Proceed on to renew your membership”. Click on it to follow the renewal process. It will ask for your username, once you enter your information your membership is renewed!. It will show you a confirmation page of user being renewed, date of payment and new expiry date. In case you didn’t see this page, or it showed incorrectly, email webmaster@thecosmicpath.com with your username and paypal receipt.
