To help you plan more in advance, Kathy now has Go-With-The-Flow Times for the month (aka a void of course Moon table) posted at her site, http://www.EmpowermentUnlimited.net.
Ah, spring! Just in time, right? Clear skies, the sun’s warmth and a renewal in life force are a needed and welcome antidote to winter’s last hurrah. And what a hurrah it was, with shocking unmaskings, mind-blowing revelations and the energies physically manifesting, in many parts of the country, as flooding and high winds. We’re still drying out from the watery outbursts that dominated the beginning of last week. The excitement has settled down, for a while at least, and crisis management is giving way to clean up and new strategies.
Almost every body in the sky has cleared Uranus at the end of Pisces, the precipitator of all of last week’s shockings, unlockings and liberations. Saturn has one last confrontation with him, coming up at the end of April, which will give another good hard shake in the revolution in the status quo that’s been ongoing since the fall of 2008. Jupiter will close in on a conjunction with Uranus in Pisces in May (but will not actually catch up with him till they’re both in Aries this summer). For the moment, we’ve got a respite for the shock waves to calm down, for our eyes to refocus after the momentary blinding of all that lightning and for our frames of reference to adjust to all the insights and information that rained down on us. Many intangibles have rearranged themselves with an astonishing quickness — relationships, priorities, attitudes, embedded beliefs and patterns. Some that looked, at first, like they were blowing apart forever have delivered the second surprise of falling back together, but with much more awareness and space between all the components. Notice how you aren’t drawn to hashing out who did what in recent dramas. With the Sun, Venus and Mercury all in Aries (and the sign’s ruler Mars finally direct and moving), few of us are interested in dallying, circling and going back over the past. The mood instead is accepting situations in their current form, focusing on what to do next and then getting on with it, whatever “it” may be.
Our current orientation is a warm-up for this summer, when the early degrees of all four cardinal signs will be occupied and activated. Three of the signs are currently in play, with the Sun in Aries, Saturn in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn. (The Cancer end of this foresome is currently quiet, having last seen action during the lunar eclipse of New Year’s Eve.) The Sun is moving off a showdown with Saturn and into an ultimatum situation with Pluto. These maneuverings form a dynamic aspect configuration called a t-square, which is requiring — no excuses accepted! — transformation of our egos and definitions of ourselves, our approaches to relationships, the structures of our relationships and all the support structures of our lives. The Sun’s location at the beginning of the week is energizing a spot that will see firecracker-like activity when June arrives. The stage of the process right now is to embrace evolution and look ahead to where (and who) we’d like to be. Setting our sights is most important. This summer, when Jupiter and Uranus join this cardinal dance, circumstances will blow open that inspire us to spring into action. There won’t be time then to think or plan or even spend much time looking around to make sure you have what you need. We’re all going to jump and dash and run like crazy.
This is the time to orient yourself in the proper sense of that word — point yourself to your symbolic east, as in the direction of the new day. Either military or athletic symbolism works well for how to make use of this time. Set up a base camp or training location that is near where you want to be, or on the road to it, or in a spot where you can see your desired location. Draw up your game plan or attack strategy. Go through some drills and trial runs, maybe even engage in some skirmishes, practice games and first volleys. Nothing during waking hours is going to hold you back; all of this week’s void-of-course Moons occur overnight (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), which means formless ebb times will not be stalling daytime schedules but coinciding conveniently with hours that most of us are wanting to be asleep. No effort will be wasted. Some may set developments immediately in motion, but all of it will prepare the ground — and, more importantly, you — for action this summer. When the bugle blows, or the starting gun goes off, or a big ol’ can of spinach gives you a burst of superhuman muscles and drive, you’ll leap into the direction that’s absolutely right for your life and evolution.
Monday: Perspective is for the having. Relationships are not going to flow lock-step with our druthers, but every bump, stop and wall is an opportunity to step out of the situation and look more closely at it. Channel any irritation into working on something that matters to you. Cooperation between Mars and Saturn means that bursts of effort can create practical, even enduring results.
Tuesday: You’re unlikely to awaken refreshed. The overnight hours were restless, with your dreams and psyche kicking and screaming at symbolic walls in your life and possibly toppling a few. It might be tricky today telling the difference between what happened in your dreams and what’s happening in waking life, especially when it comes to messages and information. With this much static crackling through the channels, it’s best not to rely or depend on anything anyone tells you (or you think you hear them telling you). Look inward and upward; there may be some birthing pains for it, but guidance is on tap from non-mundane sources.
Wednesday: This is likely the quietest day of the week. There are only four aspects, all involving the Moon. They make for high-energy, optimism-boosting dreams, which masks the day with the pleasant sense that there’s a point to all your striving. That feeling alone can carry you far, so throw yourself into whatever you will; Relationships and bank accounts require maintenance as the day progresses. Don’t fret or obsess. The situation will work itself out, primarily in your heart, and a new attitude is probable as the day winds down.
Thursday: Another less-than-restful night launches today but this time the disturbances have an empowering impact. They weren’t directing your attention to issues; they were actually liberating you from them. Even if you’re longing for another hour or sleep or two, don’t you feel weirdly energized, less encumbered and more present? In some way you know yourself and are presenting yourself more honestly. That’s going to show through in all your communications today, which are likely to be many (many)(many!) Watch how naturally speaking your mind comes and how frank you are, effortlessly and unapologetically. A lot is up for renegotiation and restructuring today: your concept of security; your role in the world and in relationships; the role that you allow relationships and the outside world to play in your life; the long-term goals that you have been striving toward. What starts as little could quickly reveal itself to be life-altering. Every issue is major, and the most important place where deep-level change is occurring is within you. Monsters in the closet disappear when you open the door and let the light in. Face anything that surfaces and shine a light on it.
Friday: It’ll feel like the weekend is beginning early, with the first of three days with only Moon aspects. It’s a talkative, creative launch to down time. You might feel inspired to get an early start, but interruptions mid-afternoon could send you into a brief bout of obsessive focus to knock some tasks out before you call it quits. Pour yourself into them. Time will expand into the vastness of eternity, and when you snap out of it, the tasks will stay firmly out of your mind for the remainder of the weekend. A luscious link between the Moon and Venus makes the evening a great time to spend with people (one particular person?) you care about. Enjoy!
Saturday: The day is all over the map emotionally. Chalk the shifting moods up to processing. The drive to get tasks done is highest first thing in the morning, while focus is greatest in the middle of the afternoon (which brings another stretch of time-expansion). Concentration flags and communication misfires after lunch time. Take a breather in the evening. Social niceties will be forced at best. No one’s heart is going to be in them. Stay in and recharge if you can; otherwise cut out at the first politically expedient opportunity and come home early.
Sunday: A long, quiet day of rest is unlikely. You might well start out with your favorite coffee blend and morning entertainment medium of choice, but sitting back and enjoying that is not what the skies have in store. The air is edgy, raspy, uncomfortable, crackling with people taking innocently intended comments personally. Navigating this will be easier, less unpleasant and more productive if you take each burst of discomfort and follow it within, instead of jumping down the throat of the person you think is the trigger. What exactly are you reacting to? What is not sitting right in yourself or your life?
