The energy begins to slide into the limitless waters of Pisces with the New Moon in that sign on Tuesday, but the detached, futuristic vision of Aquarius is still the dominant mode. We’re taking mental action (and lots of it!) to skyrocket ahead on our paths, while moving our egos into heart-based expression.
Let’s start with the Pisces New Moon. No planets are in tight aspect with the Sun and the Moon as they merge in compassion and higher love. Venus, Jupiter and the North Node of destiny are in loose growth aspects to the luminaries, marking an evolution in the relationship between our hearts and egos, and also between ourselves and others. The melding of this New Moon launches a new phase in our experience of love. An alignment is occurring internally and externally, as our hearts and egos, relationships and finances, vision of the future and life path all come together into a unit. There’s no possibility of backsliding into old relationship and self-worth patterns. They are no longer visible to us from our current vantage point. Mercury, the cosmic messenger, has plenty of assignments this week. His first is meeting with beneficent, philosophical Jupiter, whose touch expands and expands anything with which he comes into contact. Expect communication and short jaunts to hit a fevered pitch on Monday as these two planets approach their conference, which is scheduled for the wee hours EST on Tuesday morning. Follow through on every impulse to connect with someone; there’s no telling where it could lead. Monday night and early Tuesday morning are bound to be unbelievably active mentally. Keep pencil and paper at the bedside, because the messages and information that explode in your head will contain important signposts for your journey.
Wednesday, Mercury makes an opportunity aspect to Venus, the goddess of love and money, and positive developments in relationships and finances ensue. The first, early returns of Monday’s communication frenzy roll in today. Many people will find themselves in the right place at the right time or on the receiving end of a favor from a well-positioned friend.
Keep talking and brainstorming about what you want; power players are listening. Thursday, Mercury meets Pluto and Jupiter by declination. The level of chatter continues to be high, but the noise-to-signal ratio is surprisingly low. Conversations and information are deep, meaningful and clarifying. If you’re hearing a lot of gossip, it’s hardly idle chatter; profound messages lurk within the dirt. By this point in Mercury’s travels, each of us will have a new clarity and precision about the direction we want our lives to go this year. We will be simultaneously pairing down our goals to our core priorities and expanding the ones that remain into grander and more far-reaching aspirations.
The friction to watch for this week comes to a head on Friday, when Mars and Pluto aggravate each other. These two have a proclivity for violence and aggression, and neither one likes to be the first to back down. Words could be very sharp and cut in ways that take long to heal – if ever. Your newly honed plans for the future are likely to bump up against something in your personal infrastructure. Coming up with a way to harmonize them will be challenging. Don’t resist or fight out of an automatic impulse. Take the discomfort as a signal for re-examining the area of your life where the discord is arising. Existing commitments and long-term planning may have to be rethought. On a national level, a huge disagreement is probable over government power and an aspect of the multi-faceted bailouts.
