Like all of us, I too have been profoundly affected by Stephanie’s journey. We ache for her and I know all of us are sending her prayers for her quick recovery and so much love.   As her journey has evolved, I have found myself examining how the concept of “voice” is affecting my own life.
In my own self-examination, I have wondered what it really means to have a voice. It is easy to assume that it is simply the spoken or written word but is that all? I think there is so much more to be discovered. Since what occurs “out there” is us, it follows that we must each examine within us where “voice” resonates most. I have watched my pre-teen granddaughter growing into her voice this last year, a journey of self-examination and deep courage. I have watched others around me speak up in unexpected ways, with remarkable results. I have learned a great deal about myself through my own use of Voice.
I believe that Voice is the summation of all that we are in this physical plane. It is how we express ourselves in multitudinous ways: how we express our inner self to the outer world and how we express the inner world to ourselves, both in loving ways and some not so loving ways. Our Voice is generated appropriately enough in our throat chakra, the seat of Truth. What Truth within you cries out to be shared? Embraced? Released?
I believe that this is an opportunity for all of us to meditate on Voice and its individual expression. Perhaps this is an opportunity to meditate on the absence of audible voice and what that might mean to each of us. There are endless opportunities for expression, via the arts, the written word, our actions...how do we use these?
We often fill our lives with chatter or meaningless small talk. The term “small talk” says it all. While it fulfills a social function, does it really serve a Higher purpose?
Perhaps we are being asked to listen more carefully to the words we say and the words we tell ourselves. Is there a way to be more meaningful, more “real” in our social interactions with others? With ourselves?
Recently, I wrote about confronting and releasing our old storylines, those fables rooted in the past that we tell ourselves that allow fear, helplessness, and doubt and so on to take up residence within our psyches. Our inner voice delivers much of that outworn stuff and yet we know that it is time to act with consciousness and bring the words we use into awareness. What we tell ourselves directly affects what we manifest in the world.
Is that old refrain in our heads still true or is it just habit? A reflex? Is it designed to keep us small, feel victimized and helpless? If so, it is time to jettison the message. None of us are the same people we used to be and it is past time we embraced that fully. Living consciously means that we must actively clear all that no longer serves us.
Let me repeat that: Living consciously means that we must actively clear what no longer serves us.
While we are directed by Spirit in the utilization of our gifts, we are also active partners. This confers a sacred responsibility for the appropriate use of our Voices, and demands that we honor the Voices with which every single person on Earth has been graced. Let us truly honor this sacred gift and give it the considered and cherished place it so richly deserves.
Stephanie’s journey has affected me profoundly. I am paying more attention to every aspect of my Voice. I found that I am listening more carefully to the Voices of others. I am more considered in the words I choose to use and how I use them. Even as I write this, I am discovering even deeper layers to this. Our Voices not only illuminate our beings, they have the potential to unite and connect every single person on Earth, much as our Light does.
And a reminder: Stephanie is doing sacred work for all of us. Every action we take to clear ourselves ripples outward in ever-widening circles until we are all embodying pure Light. Every step she takes, we take with her, clearing, evolving, and embracing our authentic Selves and Voices.   As we do our work, and clear past issues and blocks, we honor her and ourSelves in a most profound way. Keep up the good work.

This column was first published a year ago but seemed particularly appropriate for right now as well. We are rapidly approaching the Saturn Pluto of 2020 and the Misaligned Masculine is ever more visible and present, so I thought it might be a good time to remind ourselves to do our part.
Here we are in a wormhole again, and one that snuck up on us. That aspect seems perfect to me because I can’t help but think that this passage is intimately tied to the “angry young man” issue that came up last week, especially after reading Ellias Lonsdale’s offering on 12/14. The angry young man is a soul remnant we have left behind and frankly, have been happy to disown. Now, here we are in a wormhole, and we are having to face the consequences of that choice AND reclaim that rejected part of ourselves. No one enjoys having an angry and unreasonable person around, especially internally. And yet, here we are... It is time to dive deep again, with our hearts wide open, willing to embrace the unlovable and bring him home.
Remember that Saturn usurped his father Uranus’ role as Divine Father and has not exactly exhibited divine behavior since. Instead, the Ascendancy of the Patriarchy was launched and the dismemberment of the Feminine was the result. Saturn, as youngest son, felt a strong sense of entitlement along with a deep and abiding feeling of being overlooked. Uranus has now reclaimed his place as Divine Father and the Feminine is united again. One can only imagine how that would affect the “reality” Saturn created in his mind. One can only imagine how angry he would be to relinquish all he claimed....
This is the time to dive deeply once again, into those dark and angry parts of ourselves - those parts that we have no desire whatsoever to face, never mind bring into the Light. Diving deeply is not anything we haven’t done before and we have gotten quite good at it. But here is an added blessing this time. The Divine Father is assuredly back in his place, with the Divine Mother by his side. These Guardians will stand beside us and with us and make certain that the errant Son is brought home and his anger transmuted to Light.
As always, it will be harder in unexpected ways, and easier than we ever imagined. Just remember to breathe and keep your heart open. Now let’s go get him and bring him home.

At this juncture, it seems as if we are all surrounded by strife, upheaval and a fair amount of fear. Our world seems like an uncertain place right now. We cannot forget that we are also surrounded by hope, promise and remarkable gifts of compassion.   While they may not be as visible as the bad news imparted by social media and news outlets, they none the less exist and inspire. And let us not forget that where Light shines, it multiplies.
We here in the United States are about to celebrate Thanksgiving, a holiday that has a questionable past but nonetheless represents an opportunity for people to gather in gratitude for life’s blessings. As Thanksgiving approaches, I have found myself giving a great deal of thought to gratitude. And so I am told:
Rejoice in gratitude for it leads the way. It opens doors within your self and in your external world. Most importantly, you must know that gratitude is first cousin to love. Love cannot exist without it.
Gratitude is essential to your spiritual growth and transition to Crystalline Being.
Gratitude facilitates healing and Wholing. Immerse yourselves in it, let your hearts well up and overflow with gratitude.
Gratitude serves to clear clogged chakras and other blockages.
Gratitude allows humans vibrations to rise. It increases your ability to connect heart to heart with others.
Gratitude affects the energy of others, allowing them to experience an expansion of their own heart fields.
Do you begin to see how closely aligned gratitude is with love? Do you begin to understand why? We ask you to explore these thoughts and seek their similarity in your own hearts. We cannot stress how important this is as you move through this time of transition. In every moment of time/space, there is reason for gratitude. Let this be your walking, breathing mantra and allow thanksgiving to be who you are with every breath.
*********
This week I wanted to take the opportunity to speak to all you directly from my heart to yours. We are entering the holiday season for many of us, which, as we all know can be equal parts stress and joy. I urge you, once again, to put self-care at the top of your list of “to do’s”. It has never been as important as it is right now.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this column, and for the emails and messages, you send me. You mean the world to me, and fill my heart with gratitude.

I woke up this morning with the words “pay attention” reverberating in my head. As I made my way to the kitchen for coffee, the words continued. I fed the dogs, did some laundry, planned my day, and still, I heard the words “pay attention.”
So I stopped. I sat down, got quiet, and I listened to the world around me. I. Got. Quiet. I felt my heart beat. I listened to my breath, and I began to feel the rhythm of my body. Tight muscles began to relax, and a sense of well being filled my body. I felt my breath slow, and I began to settle back into my body with a sense of coming home.
Those who guide me tell me that those moments when we turn inward and pay attention help us connect not only with our inner selves but also more deeply with Mother Earth and each other. We must learn to live consciously, paying attention in every moment. The need for this becoming extremely important, I am told. In my mind’s eye, I am shown a fishnet-like framework, with each of us as the points of connection, and this framework surrounds the earth.
And they tell me that our simple act of paying attention creates this framework. This simple? I asked incredulously. And with all the love with which they surround me, they replied resoundingly: Yes. Just this simple. It has always been thus. The inner world creates the outer world. But it must begin with paying attention to your own inner world.
We cannot forget that we are changing with the world, and that change must be supported and nourished. Pay attention to the thoughts you tell yourself, the decisions and choices you make. Reach out to others for support if you need it. Most of all, pay attention to that inner self with which you are blessed. I am told that we must be vigilant in this pursuit because it will become increasingly more important. Everyone I talk to is struggling in some way, and it is important that we who can create a safe haven within for ourselves and for others. A global community is arising in which we are already members. But we must be members in good standing so that we may create a powerful foundation for all of us.
So I say to you Pay Attention. The single most important thing you can do for yourself every day is simply pay attention to your inner self. Allow yourself moments to reboot, to check in with yourself and see what you need. So go on, go sit down and just breathe.
