We have arrived at the Gemini New Moon, after a deep dive into our Scorpio quality of consciousness, through the last Full Moon, which allowed access to our deepest beliefs. We may have been surprised or reassured as these beliefs emerged during the Full Moon passage. Our Scorpio consciousness was able to use whatever information came up to transform anything we have not been comfortable with, or which needed to be changed. The transformation process started as soon as we recognized our discomfort.
Since the New Moon on 5 May, we have travelled along the bridge that exists between the Taurus and Scorpio qualities of consciousness. We can pick any spot on this bridge to view the landscape around us. The Taurean New Moon showed us where fruitful new beginnings could be found, and also where we are perhaps less than fluid and flexible than we would like to be. We have had the opportunity to take a new listen to the inner voice within and gain more respect for our own inner guidance system. If at any point we heard this voice as self-critical or demeaning, rest assured that we were hearing the voice of the ego. Ego takes many guises, including a voice that can be full of praise and sweet words as much as it can be a critic or bully. Our Taurean experience grounded this voice, one way or the other, setting us up for the deep dive into the Scorpio Full Moon.
The Libra Full Moon on 19 April was a real eye opener. Prior to the Moon event we saw for the first time an image of the Black Hole Powehi. Since the Full Moon we have had more exposes about discord among and within governments, corruption, and the erosion of virtue in public life at all levels. Because the Libra quality of consciousness is intrinsic to the axiom “as above so below,” working with Libra helps us remember that we are wholly and intrinsically part of the social fabric.
We do not change the world and everyone to be what we want by looking outward. But we can transform our experience of “the world,” by accepting our role and responsibility to live in it and do the best we can. Our role is that we are Source incarnated to have the experience of duality and return to the consciousness of Connected Universal Love on this planet Earth. Our responsibility is to accept that we can’t really blame others for our predicaments, we are part of a co-creation process where we are at once “us and ‘them” at the same time. Consider this quote from Sir Terry Prachett:
What a passage we have gone through—since the Aries New Moon on 5 April, where our consciousness was expanded anew to help us navigate this Full Moon in Libra. This is a moment where we can say that our comprehension of the known universe has completely changed, and it has done so with one somewhat blurry image. The black hole Powehi looks surprisingly familiar, like the renderings created by space artists over the years. The image was built from the precise measurements, complex coordination, and the shared vision of an amazing group of scientists that comprise the international Event Horizon Telescope project, their sponsors, and supporters. The last Full Moon on the Libra world axis on the 20th of March, just 30 days before this Full Moon, reminded us of what can occur on a global scale if the will and way is there to do so.
